Carolyn Doiron Garrett, age 84, passed away surrounded by her loving children and family at 1:58pm, Saturday, April 2, 2022.  Carolyn was a native and resident of Houma, LA.


Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:30am until 12:30pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Saint Francis de Sales Cathedral at 1:00pm with burial following in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1.

Carolyn is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Ann LeBoeuf and husband Huey Paul LeBoeuf Jr., Bernadette Luke and husband Francis Luke; 1 sister, Beulah Ann Doiron Parr of New Iberia, LA.; 11 grandchildren, Carolyn Marie Phillips (Stuart) of York, SC, Amanda LeBoeuf Twiner (Joey), Brady LeBoeuf (Brittney), Christopher LeBoeuf (Harlie Porche), Katie Sartin, Ashley Sartin Blanchard (Kyle), Michael Sartin, Brent Luke (Becky), Bryan Luke (Melissa), Corey Luke; 29 great grandchildren, Jansen, Kade, and Ragen Twiner, Jack (Jaclyn), Sydney and Sam Phillips, Liam, Brady Jr., Rilynn, Brinlee, James, and Harper LeBoeuf, Chloe, Gavin and Ava Sartin, Logan, Beau, and Grayson St. Germain, Isabella and Mila Blanchard,  Mallory,  Brent Jr., Cody, Dre, Kyli, Max, Demi’, Jak Luke and Alexis Brunet.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Garrett Sr., 1 daughter, Cindy Garrett Sartin, son-in-law, William “Dean” Sartin; her parents, Gustave Doiron Jr. and Beulah “Boo Boo” Duplantis Doiron; 2 sisters, Imelda Doiron Hebert and Marie “Claire” Doiron; brother-in-law, James Parr; nephew, Bubba Hebert and niece, Kim Parr Hernandez.


She was a member and President of “The West Houma Lions Club” for 26 years and received several awards.

Her hobbies were sewing, arts and crafts, camping and traveling. Carolyn loved playing cards and “BINGO” with her many family and friends.

Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She loved her family and friends very much. She will be greatly missed.


Her family would LOVE to thank Dr. Dicky Haydel, Bayou Homecare and Heart of Hospice for taking such good care of her.
