It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Cangelosi, 63, a native and resident of Houma, LA, into the home of her Lord and Savior.
A visitation will be held in her honor on April 1, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home in Chapel Dauphine from 9AM until the Religious Service at 11AM. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Andrew Cangelosi; mother, Carmen Use’; sisters, Debbie Cobb (Jimmy), Vicki Hawks (John), Susan Johnson, and Tina Chaisson; numerous nieces and nephews; and brothers-in-law, Nick Cangelosi (“Sis”) and John Cangelosi.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Charles “Charlie” Use’; brother, David Use’; brothers-in-law, Danny Johnson, Joe Cangelosi, and Rick Cangelosi; and sister-in-law, Nancy Babin.
Cindy will be remembered by her family and friends for always having a smile on her face, even through her suffering. She was a devoted mother to her fur babies. Cindy could always be counted on for a good laugh and joking around with her family and friends. She was an avid fisher and would never hesitate to out-fish her favorite partner in crime, Andrew.
Cindy will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure to know and love her.
