Edward “Boogie” Paul Fitch Jr., 66, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away on December 28, 2020.

Services are pending at this time. Burial will be held in Rogers Cemetery. Donations can be made directly to the funeral home or through crowdfunding via samartfuneralhome.com

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Parfait Fitch; parents, Edward Paul Fitch Sr. and Eva Dean Fitch; son, Edward “T-Boogie” Paul Fitch III; step-daughters, Rachel Pierre (Cleveland), Tracy Boudreaux (John Boy), and Tammy Schaubhut (Lonny); brother, Wilfred Fitch (Johanna); sisters, Cynthia Fitch, Cheryl Parfait (Paul), and Nancy Smith (James Foret); grandchildren, Michalla, John, Christin, Kevin, Clark “Peewee” Jr., Zack, Harley, Malaya, McKaylee, and McKatelyn; 16 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Edwina Fitch, Wilfred and Eve Dean; father-in-law, Joseph “Took” Parfait; mother-in-law, Irene Trosclair Parfait; step-son, Joseph Richard Verdin; brothers-in-law, Aubrey Parfait, Jessie Parfait, Patrick Parfait, Regis Verdin Sr.; aunts, Mary Fitch, Nolia Fitch Williams; uncles, Larry Fitch, Felix Fitch, Autrey Fitch, and George Dean.
