Ernest Peter “Captain Chau-fee” Breaux Jr., 56, a native and resident of Bourg, Louisiana, passed away on November 30, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue.
He is survived by his sons, Jonathan Breaux and Joey Breaux; sister, Bernice Breaux; aunt/godmother, Gloria Robertson; aunt, Shirley Boudreaux and uncle/godfather, Joe Boudreaux; uncle, Tommy Breaux; nephew, Christopher Cochise Dorion; niece, Tangie Anderson Cheramie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Peter Breaux Sr. and Elizabeth Matherne Roberts; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was a hard worker his whole life, boat captain for more than 30 years, worked on boats for 40 years, loved to hunt and fish. He was a wonderful brother, nephew, father and son.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue LLC is in charge of arrangements.
