Eulalie Leblanc Authement, 91, a native and resident of Chauvin, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 12:30AM.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chauvin from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00AM. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Eulalie is survived by 2 Sons, Russell, Jr. and Ricky (Lona) Authement; Grandchildren, Gary (Trisha), Amy (Alex Waguespack), Jason (Alicia), and Megan (Ali) Authement; Great-grandchildren, Hunter, Everett, Anne Marie, and Alice Authement, Edie Faye Waguespack and Baby Waguespack; Sister, Claire Whipple.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Authement, Sr., her parents, Justin and Marguerite Girior Leblanc; Siblings, Raymond Leblanc and Mae Leblanc, Julius “Paco” Leblanc, Allen Leblanc, and Ruby Leblanc Joffrion.
Eulalie was a retired educator who served the Terrebonne Parish School System. She was a member of the K.C. Auxilary, American Legion Auxiliary 0272, Terrebonne Retired Teachers Association, and the Retired Terrebonne Elementary School Teachers.
