Evelyn Dupre Zeringue, 86, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, 4511 West Park Ave., Gray, Louisiana from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Services will resume on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue, Louisiana from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton Zeringue Sr.; 8 children, Debra Zeringue, Judy Zeringue, Joyce Dolese, Clifton Zeringue Jr. (Sharon), Penny Bauman (Jonah), Rachel Boudloche (Kevin), Glynn Zeringue (Milissa), and Gary Zeringue (Jeanne); 13 grandchildren, Cory, Nikki, Craig, Jeremy, Josh, Tasha, Kayla, Kevin Jr., Kayla, Ernest “E.J.”, Rose, Ashley, and Chris; 17 great-grandchildren, Cory Jr. “C.J.”, Preston, Trent, Logan, Brayden, Evan, Serenity, Emma, Brennon, Kobi, Daemon, Kaleb, Jaycub, Myra, Madison, McKenzie, and Ruby; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Elora.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Zeringue and Peter Zeringue; 1 infant child; parents, Francois and Corinne Dupre; son-in-law, Roland Dolese Jr.; sisters, Beulah Buquet, Lois Pertuit, Aurelia Boudreaux, Miriam Degruise, and Zoe Hebert; and brothers, Eugene Dupre, Mark Dupre, Lee Dupre, Claude Dupre, and Clyde Dupre.
