Helen Neal Roddy was blessed with a long and healthy life of 95 years and passed into her eternal life on Sunday May 9, 2021. She was a native of Chauvin, La and lifelong resident of Houma, La.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St Francis Cemetery #2.
Helen is survived and celebrated by her loving daughter, Brenda A. Guidry (Kenneth) and her devoted son, Allen P. Roddy (Susan); sisters, Thelma Bergeron and Earline Roger. Helen was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Henry John Roddy; son, Roger Henry Roddy; parents, Clarville and Noricia Neal; siblings, Gladys Parker, Alice Fanguy, Anna Mae Dupre, Shirley Blanchard, Willard Sr., Allen and Lenwood Neal.
Helen found great joy and satisfaction in the upkeep of her cherished home. “But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.” 1 Corinthians 14:40.
