Hubert Charles LeBlanc, 74, a native and resident of Chauvin, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin from 9:00 am until The Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the church’s cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lynette Dupre LeBlanc; daughters, Monica Breaux (Ted), Melissa Lyons, and Michelle Pinell (Dwayne); grandchildren, Derek Breaux (Stephanie), Tyler Breaux (Monique), Jace Lyons (Maegan), Gage, Emma, and Jordyn Pinell; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Carson, Juliana, and Baby Breaux, Colt and Parker Lyons, and Adelyn Collins; brother, Lynn LeBlanc (Debbie); and sister-in-law, June LeBlanc.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert J. LeBlanc and Rose K. LeBlanc; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lucille and Lynus Dupre; brothers, Hugh and Riley LeBlanc; sisters, Elizabeth Gautreaux and Carolyn Trosclair; and nephews, Ronnie LeBlanc and Glenn Gautreaux.


Hubert was very loving and friendly, and his family was always his pride and joy. He enjoyed cooking and going to the casino, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the Chauvin Senior Citizens Home. Hubert will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Chabert Medical Center for their care and compassion. They would also like to thank the Little Caillou Fire Dept. and The Medical Team for their assistance and care over the last year. Lastly, the family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone for their prayers and support during this time.
