Juliette Champagne Henry born on June 29, 1940, died peacefully on December 30, 2021. Funeral services will be held at St. Bernadette Church on Funderburk Avenue in Houma, LA, on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Visitation will begin at 8:30am until 11:00am. A funeral mass will then be held at St. Bernadette, with burial to follow at the Cross Church cemetery on Coteau Rd.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Willis Joseph Henry, Jr., her parents Mabel Voisin Champagne and Lawrence Champagne, along with her mother and father-in-law Beulah and Willis J. Henry, Sr. She has also been preceded in death by her sister, Melva Champagne Breaux, grand-daughter Megan Lynne Henry, daughter-in-law Lynn Truxillo Henry, and brothers-in-law Harvey Henry, Elray Gary, and Murphy Breaux.
Juliette is survived by her five children: Darlene Henry Breaux (David), David Henry (Shawn), Melissa Henry DiSalvo, Monique Henry Bradberry (Gordon), William Henry and special family friend Karen Schexnaydre. She is also survived by five siblings: Robert Champagne (Barbara) in Lafayette, LA, Gloria Champagne Authement (Larry), Kathleen Champagne LeBlanc (Wayne) in Thibodaux, LA, Larry Champagne (Bonnie) in Thibodaux, LA, and Stephen Champagne (Suzanne) in New Orleans,LA.
She has been blessed with grandchildren who are: Aaron Breaux, Jacob Breaux, Morgan Henry Love (Winston), Hunter Henry, Nicole DiSalvo (Alyssa), Russell DiSalvo III (Brittany), Gordon H. Bradberry (Krista), Daniel Bradberry, Owyn Bradberry, Spencer Henry, Sarah Henry, Timothy Conn. Mom was also very proud of having a great relationship with her great-grandchildren aged 1-14. They are Jackson Breaux, William Love, Cohen DiSalvo, Edie DiSalvo, Pixie Breaux, Charleigh DiSalvo, Huntleigh Bradberry, Etta DiSalvo, Alexis Patnode, Cameron Patnode, and Ashlynn Nowak. She also has numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
