Kaiden Anthony Rodriguez, 4 months and 21 days, a native and resident of Montegut, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in the loving arms of his mother at Ochsner Baptist in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kaiden suffered from chronic lung disease that lead to heart failure. After putting up a strong fight, he gently passed into the arms of Jesus.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, from 8:00 am until the Religious Service at 1:00 pm. The burial will follow in St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin.
He is survived by his parents, Brad Anthony Rodriguez Sr. and Keri Dawn Authement; brothers, Hayden Paul Rodriguez, Brad Anthony Rodriguez Jr.; sisters, Isis Olivia Collins, Jemma Rayne LeBoeuf, Robbielyn Elizabeth Peeples; uncles, Joseph Hebert, Jessie Authement, Jason Meinelt, Troy Authement, Dwight Authement, Donald Authement Jr., and Chad Henry (Kaiden’s Godfather); aunts, Brittany Rodriguez (Kaiden’s Godmother), Ashley St. Romain, Ashly Hutchinson, Kayla Henry, Leslie Henry, Jamie Authement; grandparents, Angela Hebert, Anthony and Patrice Rodriguez, Donald “Don-O” and Joann Authement; numerous cousins, great-aunts and uncles, and family friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Connie Rodriguez; Herman and Kay Hebert, Iona and Wilburt “Bobutte'” Authement, Johnny Domangue and Bessie Pitre; cousin, Jori Lirette; great-uncle, Kenny Rodriguez.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue in order to cover funeral expenses.
