Lamar Dontele Lathen, 41, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
Due to the pandemic, no public arrangements will be conducted. He will be interred in Southdown Cemetery in Houma. LA.
He is survived by his sons, Ahmad, Isaiah, Xaevion, Dahvani and Joziah Lathen; daughters, Trinity Joyner and Imani Lathen; parents, Cynthia Davis-Daigs (Brent) and Levirt Lathen, Jr.; sisters, Ciara J. Davis, Vanessa Lathen and Ashanit Gimlin; paternal grandmother, Bertha Lathen; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Levirt Lathen, Sr.; maternal grandparents, St. Clair and Dorothy Rutledge Davis.
Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
