Leeroy Hebert, age 81, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2020 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Leeroy was a longtime resident of Houma.
A visitation in his honor will take place in the Dauphine Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Highway 311 on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A religious service will begin at 7 PM.
Leeroy is survived by his sons, Michael Hebert and wife Lisa of Saugus, CA. and William “BILL” Hebert and wife Christy of Golden CO.; daughter Christina and spouse Tony Burton of Houma; grandchildren Christy Cavalier Schulte, Katlyn Leger, Michael II, Ashton and Elizabeth Hebert, Ericka Hicks Knight and John Hicks, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Leeroy is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Beverly Hebert; parents, Roy C. Hebert and Henrietta Porche Hebert; sister, Gail Hebert Blanchard.
Leeroy was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He spent most of his work life in the oilfield as a supervisor until his retirement. He was blessed by God and was giving the spiritual talent to spread the good word of the gospel. Most of the community knows him as Brother Lee. Leeroy spent many years loving his family and friends and will be dearly missed. He is now reunited with his family that passed away before him and now rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
