He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda Boutte; sons, Peter and Poncherallo Boutte; daughters, Consuello (Juan), Estrella (Willie), Monique (Ciro) and Eloisa; brothers, Andrew (Rose), Herman, John (Pearl), and Tony (Bertha); sister, Brenda Ledee; he was a beloved grandpa to eighteen grandchildren, Jesus’, Felix, Leonel, Gabriel, Antonio, Cheyenne, Milania, Elena, Maria, Myra, Ciro, Linda, Jaylynn, Raelynn, Kayden, Ryver, Elijah, and Gabriella; and one great-granddaughter, Kalonni.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Beatrice Boutte; brother, Mike Boutte; sisters, Bertha “Sis” Boutte and Peggy Boutte; two grandchildren, Jansen Boutte and Lizbeth Juarez; and his beloved pet, Jetta.

Peter was a self-made businessman and known to many in the community as “Matador”. He was the owner and operator of Matador Towing for the last 22 years and would later start up Matador Construction alongside the towing company until which he was forced to retire due to his health conditions. He was an active member of the Local Hog Chapter back in the day and would enjoy riding his custom Harley motorcycle. Nothing meant more to Peter than his family. He was a hardworking husband, father and grandpa who loved his family with everything he had including taking his nieces, nephews and some of his children’s friends as his own also. He leaves behind a great legacy and Peter will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him, but his family takes comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace.

The family would like to thank Fresinius Medical Care, Thibodaux Regional, Dr. Maidoh and Ms. Selena from Divinity Home Care for all the great care that was provided.
