Robert E. Ketchum, 70, a native of Natchez, MS, and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until service time at 5:00 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 4690 Hwy. 311 Houma, LA 70360.


Robert is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dinah Ketchum; daughters, Lacey Guidry (Kory) and Ticy Spradlin (Matthew); grandchildren, Breanna Moore (Justin), Kullen Pellegrin (Camelia), Malachi Spradlin, and Addison Arabie; two great-grandchildren, Gracie and Brantley Moore; and brothers, Joseph and Edward Ketchum.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ella Ketchum; and sisters, Linda Thibodaux and Kathy Weatherford.

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all. He was a baptized Jehovah’s Witness for 39 years. He was the life of the party and always left people with a smile on their face. His kind soul and generosity made him an exceptional husband and father. Robert loved spending time with his family and always had gifts coming in the mail for them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
