Shirley Billiot Kingrey, 73, a native of Dularge and resident of Bayou Blue, passed away on May 19, 2022.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Verrett Jr. (Kym), Troy Verrett, Gene Kingrey, Dannie Kingrey Jr. (Hong); daughters, Rocky Naquin (Kelli), Hellianna Volquardts (Summer); brothers, Joe Billiot (Emeline), Anthony Billiot (Rhonda), Kirby Billiot (Elsie), Tim Billiot (Michelle); sisters, Annabelle Verdin (Howard), Mary Dehart (Howard), Winona Verdin (Wesley), Phyllis Lacoste; grandhildren, Alexis, Alex, Blayze, Kayla, Joshua, Rick, Dannie, Victor, Derek, Natasha, Asia, Kyle, Mary, Daniel, Jade, Noah, Kerrie, Little David; great-grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Jocelyn, Caroline, Evie, Destiny, Alyshia, Christian, Alanna; Great great-grandchild, Alex.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dannie Kingrey; parents, Albert and Mary Billiot; sons, Morris Naquin and David Kingrey; brother, Harry Billiot Jr.; sister, Mildred Richards; granddaughter, Roxanne Griffin.
Shirley was an awesome person, she loved to make everyone laugh. She never met a stranger. She loved going to the casino, it was her favorite past time. She is well loved and will be greatly missed.
