Steven K. Lirette, 62, a native of New York and resident of Houma, LA., passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
The family would like to thank all those who offer their support and condolences. There are no services scheduled at this time.
Steven is survived by his loving mother, Lefey Lirette Smith; brothers, Kenney Haydel (Anne) and William Smith, Jr. (Janet); and sister, Diana Goss (Larry). In addition, he leaves behind many grand-nieces and -nephews, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Smith, Sr.; sister, Anna Simmons; brothers, Jeffrey P. Smith, Carl J. Smith, and Allen L. Smith; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Smith.
Steven was blessed to make a career out of mechanic work, which was his biggest passion. He will be dearly and deeply missed by all those who had the honor to know and love him.
