Thomas “Tom” Howe Platt, age 77, passed away Thursday December 17, 2020. He was a native of Beaumont, Tx and long-time resident of Houma, La.

Tom is survived by his children, Russell J. Henry, Jr. (Becky), Myra Beth Drury (George), Cynthia Faye Kosier, Joey S. Henry (Laurel) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Reba Faye Platt, and parents, Carl and Bertie Platt.

Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he proudly served his country in the United States Army in Korea. Upon returning from Korea, Tom began what would become a long and distinguished career as a flight instructor and commercial pilot. Being an aviator afforded Tom and Faye the ability to travel together extensively. Tom was a parishioner of St. Frances De Sales Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Due to Covid concerns, a private memorial service will be held for Tom at a later date.
