Wayne “Lightning” Smith, 57, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, LA, passed away peacefully at 7:37 a.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
No public services will be conducted.
He is survived by his daughter, Jordan Smith; father, Calvin Smith (Joann); brothers, Patrick Collins, Calvin, Jr. (Alicia), Alvin, Glynn and Lance Smith; sisters, Rosmary Jasper and Lucinda Rideaux; sister-in-law, Paula Smith; aunts, Eva Biarria and Barbara Payne; uncle, Alvin Collins, II.; brother-in-law, Thurman Jasper; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Smith; son, Mikey Williams; mother, Ora Mae Dark; stepmother, Janice Smith; brothers, Jerome Smith, James and Donald Dark; sisters, Sharon Jasper and Wendy Smith; brother-in-law, Stewart Jasper, Sr.
