Wesley “Joe” Verdin Jr., 45, of Houma, passed away on January 24, 2021.

He is survived by his wife Rakeya “Tia” Parfait Verdin, Parents, Wesley Sr. and Elaine Verdin; Grandmother, Jeanette Verdin. sisters, Amy Hebert and husband Jeremy and Melissa Bellanger and husband Joshua; Father and Mother-in-laws, Paul and Cheryl Fitch Parfait; Brother-in-laws, Nakeya Parfait and wife Jessica, Derrick “Danoe” Parfait and Jodie; sister-in-laws, Cacinda DeHart and Carlton, Reva Parfait, Mariah Verdin and husband Ryder, Nieces and Nephews, Matthew, Joel, Grace, Reese, Emily, Kayla, Koby, Tj (Angelle), Tyler, Kaya, Eleora, Nick (Skyla), Isaiah, Madison, Dalton, Morgan, Amaya, Meagan, Nu, Ryder, Liam, Noah, Kole, Addison, Jessie Jo, Layla, Reese, Madison, and Blake.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Laura Mae Carrere and Elgin Verdin; nephew, Emerson DeHart.

Those that knew him would say he was one of a kind. He bonded with children, any child that would cross his path would love him. Although, Joe loved kids he had a special relationship which each of his nieces and nephews they truly were his pride and joys. He had a heart of gold and a passion for music. Joe was the proud president of Least of Saints MC and Ignite the Fire.


He had committed his life to our Lord and Savior changing his life in many ways. He became a new creature in Christ with an amazing testimony. He was loved by so many and will be missed by everyone.
