Willard Paul Thibodeaux Sr., 81, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, passed away on November 30, 2020.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 from 9 am to 11 am at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue. The Mass of Christian Burial will start at 12 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Thibodeaux; son, Willard “Junior” Thibodeaux, Jr. (Kristi); daughters, Charlene Thibodeaux Robichaux (David), Maxine Thibodeaux Bethmann (Matthew), and Darlene Thibodeaux; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Elgin “Gin” and Autrey “Yot” Thibodeaux; and sister, Brenda Theriot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Lydia Trahan Thibodeaux; grandchild, Willard Thibodeaux III; brother, L.B. Thibodeaux; and sister, Juanita “Meyon” Naquin
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
