Wilma was an extraordinary woman with many talents. She was beautiful, talented, quick wit, but most of all she loved her family dearly, adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren and enjoyed vacationing with them. Wilma was an educator in the Terrebonne Parish School System for forty years. She enjoyed painting landscapes and wildlife and playing the guitar. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and spent many years in the choir. Wilma leaves a beautiful legacy behind and is now reunited with her family who passed before her. May she rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Wilma Portier.
