Letter: Thanks for Launch Leeville help

Dear Editor,

Thanks for making Launch Leeville event a success!



On Friday, Sept. 13, Launch Leeville, Non-Profit, hosted a press conference featuring Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne. Over 300 attended the event in support of Leeville and the many great initiatives in place to revitalize this once forgotten fishing village. 



Everyone’s participation validates our mutual compassion for Leeville.



I would like to thank the community for its support. Most importantly, I would like to thank the Lafourche Parish Library System for contributing their resources to make this event such a huge success. Laura Sanders, Director and Paul Chiquet, Branch Administrator, coordinated their colleagues to create historical exhibits of Leeville, which were greatly admired and appreciated. Their contribution and generosity to Leeville’s most decorated event ever, is to be commended and recognized.



My personal heartfelt gratitude to all of you who made this monumental day forever memorable.
