The South Lafourche Flash just keep on shining.
The organization’s 5th grade boys team soared this past weekend, winning the 2018 Baton Rouge Royals Summer Shootout in decisive fashion, posting a 4-0 mark on the weekend with several blowout victories.
The group, which is comprised of local players from all around the Houma-Thibodaux area, is coached by Damien St. Pierre, who started the Flash organization a few seasons ago.
Now, the organization has grown and has multiple teams throughout several age groups.
The 5th grade boys have been hot lately.
They scored a 39-18 win in the Championship Game this past weekend, their third tournament title of the summer to go along with 25 victories.
