Nicholls’ first three football games are all on the road.

But no worry, Colonel fans, you’ll still be able to watch those guys play – just from the comforts of home.

The Southland Conference announced this week that Nicholls’ first four games will all be televised to regional audiences.

The Colonels’ first two games will be on ESPN 3 – dates at Kansas and at Tulane.

But the league announced that the team’s first two Southland games will also be shown on TV, as well, which means that the first month of Colonels football will be televised for the first time in quite a while.

Nicholls’ date at McNeese in Week 3 will be shown on Cox Sports Television and also on ESPN 3 for folks outside of the Cox Sports Television radius. The Colonels’ home opener against Sam Houston State a week later will also be shown on ESPN+.

Those are not the only Nicholls games that will be televised this year, but TV rights dictate that the league has until 12 days before each kickoff to announce which games it will broadcast.

Kickoff times may fluctuate as well to fit the schedule.
