One of the area’s longest-running basketball camps is going to be back again in 2016.
The 26th Annual Tarpon Basketball Camp will be hosted at South Lafourche High School through four sessions throughout the summer.
Session 1 begins next week on May 16 and will last through May 19. The age of the first session is Iddy Biddy-aged kids.
Session 2-4 are for Biddy-aged kids, and each session is four days.
Session 2 is May 30-June 2; Session 3 is June 6-9 and Session 4 is June 13-16.
The camp is hosted by South Lafourche boys’ basketball coach Brian Callais, his staff and members of the Tarpons team.
Campers will learn basketball fundamentals, while having fun and making new friends.
Each camper will get a free water bottle and camp T-shirt. Campers will have chances to win other prizes throughout the week in skills competitions and other drills.
The cost to enroll in a session is $75 per child. Children can enroll in additional sessions for $35 more per extra session.
The Iddy Biddy camp is $5 per child.
