HL Bourgeois High School had a great showing at the Regional Powerlifting Meet this past weekend.
The Braves showed up huge in all of the athletes competing. Brennon Naquin and Gavin Vordick set multiple records. Congratulations to the following:
- Talance White- 2nd place, 114lb weight class
- Kaden Redmond- 2nd place, 148 weight class
- Brennon Naquin- 1st place, 181 weight class. Set district records in all three lifts, Squat, Benchpress and Deadlift. Also took Bayou Regional Boys Outstanding Lifter Heavy Platform 181 lbs to SHW.
- Gavin Vordick- 1st place, 242 weight class. Set district records in both Squat and Deadlift
