The South Terrebonne football team will play arguably its biggest game of the regular season Friday in a home tilt against district rival Vandebilt.

Some of the school’s greatest players will be there, watching today’s Gators in action.

South Terrebonne officials announced this week that Friday’s game will commemorate the 20-year anniversary of the Gators’ 1991 Class 4A State Championship team.

Players and coaches from the team will be allotted special seating for the game and will also be honored before the game on the field.

A pre-game reception will also be held in the school’s gymnasium at 6 p.m. to honor the championship squad.

South Terrebonne Athletics Director Francis Labat said anyone who was a part of the team and wishes to participate is encouraged to do so.

Labat asks for RSVP from those interested.

To confirm participation, contact Labat or Gators’ coach Richard Curlin at 868-7850.
