Thibodaux Regional Medical Center’s North Hospital project complete
October 20, 2006In volleyball action last week, local teams continued their preparation for their district seasons, which begin in late September and early October.
E.D. White continued its winning ways with 3-0 sweep of Lutcher. The Cardinals improved to 8-3 on the season with the straight-set victory. Also last week, South Lafourche rebounded from a 12-point deficit in the first game to sweep Vandebilt.
After falling a game behind Central Lafourche, Terrebonne won three consecutive games to take a 3-1 win from the Lady Trojans. The Lady Trojans dropped to 2-6, while Terrebonne improved to 4-7.
H.L. Bourgeois started its week by dropping Central Catholic in straight sets, 25-11, 25-16 and 25-13.
The Lady Braves also matched up against Berwick last week, sweeping the Lady Panthers to improve to 7-3 on the year. In the Lady Braves-Lady Panthers match-up, H.L. Bourgeois improved as the match went on, winning 25-21, 25-16 and 25-8. Berwick fell to 2-6 on the year.
