6-feet, 4-inches

175 pounds

I play everything on the court. I can play all five positions. That’s something that I take a lot of pride in being able to do for my team.

Favorite movie:

My favorite movie has to be ‘Life’ starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence.

Favorite musician:

Kevin Gates, because I don’t get tired.

It’s midnight. You’re hungry. What’s the go-to snack?

Every night before I go to sleep, I get a hot fudge sundae, a pop tart and a glass of milk. Every, single night that’s my routine. It never fails. To me, that’s the best midnight snack in the world.

All that and you’re only 175 pounds?

Metabolism, baby. I’m 175.

Future plans:

Right now, I am figuring out what I want to go to college for so I can figure out what I want to do in life. I know I’ll be going somewhere, but I’m figuring out my major and everything right now.

Favorite NBA player:

Kevin Durant

I feel like we resemble one another a lot on the floor. He’s big, long and he can score both inside and outside. Those are two things that I try and take credit for doing in my game.

Favorite opponent:

H.L. Bourgeois – definitely.

That’s our rival. They bring out the best in us every time we play.

Ellender senior standout Leland Alexander is a stud – easily one of the top prep basketball players in our area. Standing 6-feet, 4-inches, Alexander possesses the rare ability to score both inside and out with his size and touch around the bucket. All of those things are why the Patriots are one of the top local teams for the 2014-15 season. Away from the floor, Alexander said he’s laid back and enjoys having fun with friends and family.
