Duece is a football and baaeball player for South Lafourche High School. Despite being just aninth grader, he’s already seeing varsity action in both sports. In baseball, he is the team’s starting shortstop and one of the top players on a club that’s pushingto host a playoff gamp for the second-straight season.

STATS:

Duece is a starting pitcher and shortstop for Tarpon baseball having several wins on the mound and multiple multi-hit games at the plate for the Tarpons.

“To keep getting bigger, stronger, faster and to do everything I can to make myself better to help my teams.”

CREDENTIALS:

How often does a ninth grader jump from middle school into the starting lineup in any varsity sport much less two? That’s exactly what James ‘Duece’ Cheramie has done at South Lafourche High School. Duece was a starting wing hack for the Tarpons’ foothall team. From there, he jumped to baseball andhas made an instant impact, playing shortstop far the team and also starting on the mound.
