George Mason (Thibodaux High alum)
Jewel is a multi-year letter winner at George Mason University after a decorated woman’s basketball career at Thibodaux High. She was one of the senior leaders on a team that’s just finishing up their 2015-19 season.
Jewel played all 30 games for George Mason and was one of the top reserves on a team that finished with a winning record.

Thibodaux native Jewel Triggs is trying to make a name for herself in professional basketball We’re sure not betting against her. She’s been a talented player for a long, long time. Triggs was a standout at Thibodaux High School who then went off to George Mason University. In her four-year career, she battled injuries, but was still a contributing player and four-year letter winner.
