1. Thibodaux: There is absolutely no shame in losing to Destrehan by just seven points in a game that you arguably dominated in terms of effort and ability. The Wildcats made a few more scoring plays on Friday, but Thibodaux showed it has enough athletes to keep up with just about anyone.

2. South Terrebonne: I know those folks down the bayou in South Terrebonne love to beat up on Vandebilt. The Gators got the chance to do exactly that on Thursday night, easily dismantling their district rivals in easy fashion. The Gators will finish 9-1 this season. Book it.

3. South Lafourche:  Call me a homer until you’re blue in the face – the facts remain the same. South Lafourche lost early against ridiculously tough competition. Against Terrebonne, Central Lafourche and the rest of the local competition in recent weeks? It’s been no competition and two easy wins.

4. E.D. White: The Cardinals held onto their spot in the High Five this week, posting a tough, one-point win against Donaldsonville – a game that came down to the final seconds. The Cardinals needed that win in the worst way after struggling the past two weeks.

5. CCA: The Lions are without their quarterback and starting tailback in a Wing-T offense that is heavily predicated on running the football. But yet, the Lions have still found ways to win ballgames in recent weeks, scoring another blowout on Friday night. Next up is a huge rivalry tilt with Houma Christian.
