Weather impacting local prep football schedule
Friday night is supposed to be wet, and several local prep football teams are making moves to beat the rain.
Several coaches confirmed to The Times today the status of their games. Friday is expected to be wet with a 90 percent chance of thunderstorms.
Weather experts say most of the rain is expected to be early in the day, which means there’s a chance that by 7 p.m. kickoff time, things can be dry.
But regardless, some local coaches are not taking any chances.
