Scalise retains leadership position

Alfred Joseph Duplantis Sr., 90, a lifelong resident of Chauvin, passed away on November 4, 2018.
He worked in the oilfield and his own trawl boat the “Capt. Tim”. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Allen Duplantis (Suzie), Alfred J. Duplantis Jr. (Lori); daughters, Bobbie Jo Lirette (Doug), and Shirley D. Dupre; eight grandchildren; two grandson-in-laws; three granddaughter-in-laws; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Robert “Bobby” Blanchard and wife, Shira. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
