Betty “Belle” Allemand, 82, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
Mrs. Allemand proudly worked the election polls at Oakshire for more than 20 years. She enjoyed being a homemaker, doing puzzle books and playing bingo. But most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by sons, Wayne J. Allemand (Cheryl) and Randy P. Allemand (Susan); daughters, Susan Allemand and Ann A. Thibodaux; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
