4: Helen Cox was well on its way to beating H.L. Bourgeois on Saturday night and winning the Woodlawn High School Tournament. But the Braves stiffened in the fourth quarter, reversing a 49-39 deficit into a 57-53 win, allowing just four points in the final eight minutes of play.

0: The number of games Robbie Brown actually served as the girls basketball coach at Thibodaux High School. 1: Congrats to new South Terrebonne girls basketball coach Nick Cenac on getting the first win of his career – a thrilling, hard-fought win against cross-town rival Terrebonne. The Lady Gators won the game by one point, using clutch play down the stretch to seal the deal for their new coach, who landed in Bourg after several years on the AAU and middle school circuits.

21: South Lafourche was losing 13-10 at the end of the first quarter in their season-opening game against Thibodaux. But then things turned around in a big, big way. The Lady Tarpons scored 21 points in the second quarter to take control of the game – all while allowing just two points in the eight-minute period.
