Charles Franklin Shorter, 69, a Kentucky native and longtime Thibodaux, La., resident, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
Known to many as “Mr. Charlie,” the man behind the desk at White Star Cleaners, Mr. Shorter worked for nearly 35 years before retiring. He was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, prior to moving to Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Shorter; daughter, Melissa Loupe; sister, Barbara Burriss; sister, Shirley Shorter; and triplet grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Landry’s)
