Swamp tour legend "Black" Guidry dies

Dorothy Jane Dubose Dupre’, 86, a native of Hayes, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Mrs. Dupre’ was selfless and caring for others. She volunteered at the Red Cross of America and First Methodist Church in Houma. She worked in the public school system for 33 years. She is survived by her sons, Johnny and Robert (Deborah) Dupre’; sisters, Virginia Draper and Joyce (Carl) Mangum; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Burial is at Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery in Indian Bayou. (Chauvin)
