Floyd Anthony Pitre, 90, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
Mr. Pitre was a World War II veteran with the United States Navy. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 31. He enjoyed fishing and working in his vegetable garden.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Carmel Bergeron Pitre; sons, Richard (Janie) and Glynn Pitre; daughter, Barbara (Martin) Gauthier; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
Burial is at St. Fancis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
