Saints look to avenge 2-straight losing seasons
August 10, 2016Franklin Arthur Dayton, 93, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:10 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016.
Mr. Dayton was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired as a naval pilot with the rank of Lt. Commander. He was a member of the Masonic Unity Lodge No. 267 and enjoyed golf and square dancing.
He is survived by his son, Peter (Debroah) Dayton; daughters, Joann (Jay) Shorkley, Janis (Dennis) Lafont and Joyce (Charles) Dayton; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
