Graydon Raymond Bonvillain, 95, a native of Bayou Black, La., and resident of Gray, La., died on Sunday, January 8, 2017.


Mr. Bonvillain was World War II veteran with the United States Army Air Corps. He was also a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. He was a hard worker and avid farmer who also loved to read, fish and lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Rita LeBoeuf; daughters, Sherry (Charles) Cain, Chris (Frank) Sherman, and Karen Weick; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery in Gray.
