James Jamie E. Tabor III, a native and resident of Houma, La., lost his battle with cancer Friday, May 1, 2015.
Mr. Tabor was employed by Barriere Construction. Previously, he was a boat captain for 19 years. He loved being over the water.
His passion was fishing, fast cars and getaways.
He is survived by his wife Angela Babin Tabor; sons, Glenn and Gavin Tabor; parents, James E. Tabor Jr. and Janet Lapeyrouse Tabor; sisters, Lisa Tabor, Laura (Jonathan) Martin and Nancy (Thomas Robichaux) Warren; sister-in-law, Carrie Pertuit; and brothers-in-law, Joey Babin and Wade Pertuit.
Donations to the Jamie Tabor Fund at Capital One in his memory are appreciated.
Visitation is set for 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
