Joseph Kirvin Parfait, 86, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Dulac, La., died Friday, June 5, 2015.
Mr. Parfait was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a loving father and grandfather. He cherished his grandchildren and all of his family. He enjoyed painting religious statues and working outdoors in the yard with flowers. He enjoyed watching wrestling on TV. Mr. Parfait was a retired boat captain and trawler.
He is survived by his sons, Johnny (Carol) Parfait, Malcolm (Gloria) Parfait, Lonnie (Shelia) Parfait, Karl (Deanna) Parfait, Kerry Parfait; daughters, Donna (Hank) Verdin, Penny (Perry) Pellegrin, Pam (Irvin) Carlos, Myra (Kevin) Christen, Juliana (John) Williams, Mary (Albert) Scott; brother, Oris Parfait; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
