Kathryn Joyce Ginder Crochet, 83, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Monday, November 14, 2016.
Mrs. Crochet was a parishioner of St. John Episcopal Church, serving on the Altar Society and becoming the first woman elected to the church’s vestry. She was also a member of the Hermanas.
Mrs. Crochet is survived by her children, Renee (Louis) Wineski, Lisa (Kenny) Hamilton and Chris (Celie), Keith (Fran) and Corey (Sheila); sisters, Gaile Clarke and June Parney; brother, David Clarke; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. John Episcopal Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
