February 28, 2017A Lafourche Parish man is in custody of authorities after allegedly having inappropriate conduct with a teenager.
Authorities said they opened an investigation on Monday after speaking with the parents of a female teenage victim in the area. Through investigation, authorities learned that Charles Hebert, 34, of Galliano, had allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with the victim throughout the past year.
Authorities made contact with Hebert on Tuesday and arrested him following questioning.
He is charged with sexual battery (forcible fondling).
Hebert was booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
Authorities said they will not release anything else about the alleged crime because of its nature.
