Miriam LeCompte Naquin, 87, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, April 27, 2015.
Mrs. Naquin was a Christian who read the Bible daily and posted scriptures all over her home. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, making puzzles, reading and was an exceptional seamstress. She had a gift for remembering dates – anniversaries to birthdays – and enjoyed genealogy.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford J. Naquin Jr.; children, Leslie (Floyd) Morgan, Lynn (Denise) Naquin Sr., Lorraine (Mark) Bourgeois, Lisette (Quentin) Washispack, Lona (Jimmy) Bernard; brother, Odis LeCompte; sister, Leah Use’; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Co Cathedral Cemetery in Thibodaux.
