Mrs. Arabie retired from St. Anne General Hospital as a nurse. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Lockport Senior Citizens, and enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by her son, Peter (Ruth) Arabie; daughter, Anne (Larry) Dufrene; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Henry (Laura) Chauvin; and sisters Theresa Dufrene and Mary Louise Walker. Burial is at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, La. (Falgout Funeral Home)
