J ‘Amire is a multi-sport standout for the Patriots football and basketball teams. In football, he is a multi-year starter at middle linebacker. On the basketball hardwood, J ‘Amire is a post presence for a Patriots team which is one of the best in Class 4A. He started in the Class 4A State Championship Game this past spring.

STATS:

J ‘Amire recorded 124 tackles last season for a Patriots team which made it to the Class 4A State Playoffs. Throughout his career, he has recorded 276 stops, Which is Why he is generating collegiate interest from several schools.


GOALS:

“To get back to the playoffs and to play at a high level every time we take the field.”

WORKING ON:


Footwork, lateral quickness and explosiveness.

STRENGTHS:

Ability to find the football, tackling and intensity.


CREDENTIALS:

Ellender Memorial standout J ‘Amire Mott is one heck of a football player. His coach, David McCormick, calls him a bowling ball because of his short stature, but explosiveness at the point of contact. That comparison makes sense. J ‘Amire is a three— year starter for the Patriots who is about to begin his senior season. He has recorded 276 tackles in his career, while playing in 30 regular season games.
