BRONZE: South Terrebonne guard Connor Brunei – The Gators desperately needed a win this week and Brunet led the charge, scoring 19 points to lead South Terrebonne past Vandebilt in a hard-fought, but key district win.
SILVER: H.L. Bourgeois guard Rayshawn Mart – Ths B’aves were in a big-time battle on Friday against Thibodaux. But Mart wouldn’t take no for an answer. The powerful guard scored 30 points, including a big-time 3-ball, which forced overtime in the eventual win.
GOLD: South Lafourche guard Traya Bruce- Bruce lost her top weapon to injury, but still stepped up In a huge way this week, posting two-straight 20-plus-point games to lead the Lady Tarpons to a pair of victories.
