Raymond “Smilie” F. Westerman Jr., 61, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary P. Westerman; children, Jennifer Hoover, Christie (Jason) Myers, Joshua (Shelly) and Caren Westerman; father, Raymond F Westerman Sr.; mother, Hazel Navarre Himel; six grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Freddie) Naquin and Jennie (Fred) Daigle; brother, Audie Himel; two stepbrothers; and two stepsisters.
Burial is at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery in Schriever.
